BLOSSOM

CAMILLA MUSA

Woman come in different shapes, shades and different hair textures. The media often puts woman in a box and stereotypes them. Camilla Musa stays away from using generic ethnic models for the sake of just having them. Instead, she focuses on unique diversity of black females which often gets overlooked.

The flowers represent all the black female ancestors who suffered and gave their life’s up for the future generation of females to blossom and thrive.

"May the flowers remind us of why the rain was necessary"  - Xan Oku.
