Kalon is a coffee-table visual book based on the perception of diverse beauty. The book celebrates women, different ethnicity, nationality, shapes and forms. The name Kalon translates as a term defining the ideals of physical and moral beauty or the beauty that is more than skin-deep. The book explores the ideology of Naomi Wolf and her notorious book "The Beauty Myth" and the artist’s personal observations on moral and physical beauty, and the importance of gender equality.
