TYDE is a bi-annual printed trend magazine that features 5 trends in relation to Spring/Summer 2017. It is aimed at millennial and generation X professionals and other enthusiasts with the aim of keeping up to date on fashion trends. TYDE will be packaged in a sleek silver envelope to ensure no damage comes to the magazine in transportation.
Each section explores runway looks, high street and street style global trends that are current in 2017. The trends that are featured in the magazine include; Underwear as Outerwear, Gingham, Floral, Oversized, and Track. It also has a street style section, in collaboration with a photographer that shows how the following trends are seen on the streets.
TYDE is a magazine that shows current fashion trends, showing the reader an insight into what is fashionable at the present time. It will not only feature trends but aims to be aesthetically pleasing with simplistic layouts and an online website. On the back of the magazine is a QR code, when scanned it will launch an option that will allow the reader to be directed to the website. The website has 5 sections, a home page showing the front cover of the magazine, an ‘about’ section; giving the reader a brief description of what the magazine is. It is also linked with a professional Instagram page created for the magazine that explores trends and inspirations. The final 2 sections include the main purpose of the website, which is for it to be a platform for the reader to purchase the magazine on and finally a contact details page.
